Veterinary Technician Internship (Bel-Rea students only)

Sploot Veterinary Care is introducing a brand new approach to veterinary care in the form of Urgent & Primary Care Clinics and we’re thrilled to offer eighth quarter internships for Bel-Rea Veterinary Technician students. Sploot genuinely values a collaborative culture and work/life balance.   What you’ll do as a Bel-Rea Intern:

• Gain 400 hours of hands-on clinic experience during your eight quarter at Bel-Rea
• Work closely with our veterinary team to provide high-quality medical care to our patients
• Participate in an individualized program to enhance problem-solving, technical, and communication skills
• Work alongside veterinary professionals in various aspects of patient care
• Support technicians in diagnostic and treatment plans
• Learn fear-free techniques for patient exams, treatments, and procedures
• Engage in daily hospital nurse duties and responsibilities that provide an elevated level of care and experience for our patients and pet parents
• Real-world experience in primary and urgent care medicine in a small animal practice
• One-on-one mentorship and individualized onboarding to guide your professional development
• Opportunity to focus on specific areas of interest within the veterinary field
• Discover diverse roles and career opportunities while gaining practical experience
